Skebo has apartments where water consumption is included in the rent as well as apartments with individual metering, for which water is charged accordingly. Skebo is now introducing individual metering in all new apartments. When your proberty is built, decide if and how your water i measured.
What does individual metering and billing (IMB) of water mean?
Individual metering of water involves measuring the use in each apartment. Each apartment owner pays for their actual consumption of water. Those who conserve water pay less than those who use a lot of water.
Why?
The most important reasons why we have individual metering in new apartments is that we want to:
- create a fair system – you pay for what you use
- reduce energy consumption, which has positive effects on the environment and climate
- give you more opportunity to influence your costs. The cost of living is less when water consumption is reduced.
