We try to maintain the highest possible standard in our properties. Regular maintenance is planned for all apartments and is normally carried out by Skebo's employees or hired contractors.
Tenant-controlled maintenance
In most of our areas, you have full control of maintenance and improvements. We call it tenant-controlled maintenance (TCM). This simply means that there is a plan for what and when something should be renovated or replaced in your apartment. For a fee, you can have maintenance performed earlier than planned, so-called early maintenance. You can also choose to forgo planned maintenance if you are satisfied with your home. In that case, you will receive a sum of money back on the rent every month.
Early maintenance
If you are not completely satisfied with the standard of your apartment, you can request that the maintenance of your home be carried out at an earlier date. For this service, Skebo charges a fee depending on the estimated service life remaining for what you want done. For example, if you want to change wallpaper that is ten years old, you pay two twelfths of the cost as wallpaper is estimated to have a lifespan of twelve years. It is not possible to replace floor/kitchen cabinets that are less than five years old.
