Skebo continues to invest in the popular area of Kåge with an exciting new residential project in Sörbyn. The area is centrally located, close to shops, health center, and surrounded by nature - perfect for those seeking both convenience and a scenic environment.
Phase 1
In Sörbyn phase 1, we are building a brand new residential area with a mix of apartment buildings with rental apartments and detached townhouses. In total, there will be 128 apartments, of which 108 are distributed across four five-story apartment buildings. Here, we offer mainly two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, but also a number of four-bedroom units for those needing more space. Additionally, we are building 20 townhouses in rows with five rooms and a kitchen, spread over two floors with a living space of 115 square meters - a perfect option for families looking to avoid large loans.
We plan to create a pleasant and green environment between the buildings in the area with space for play, plantings, and social interaction. All apartments will have balconies. The townhouses have designated parking spots and are equipped with their own washing machine and dryer. For residents in the apartment buildings, there are shared laundry rooms.
Phase 2
Skebo is expanding in Kåge with an additional 40 new residences in phase 2. These residences will be built as rows of townhouses in two floors and will be similar to the townhouses being built in the first phase. Each residence in phase 2 will have five rooms and a kitchen covering approximately 110 square meters. Each residence will also have a designated parking spot equipped with both a charging station and an outlet for engine preheaters.
The Community of Kåge
Kåge offers a wide range of services and amenities, including grocery store, gas station, pharmacy, pizzeria, gym, health center, public dental care, and elementary school (Kågeskolan). There is also Kågebadet, a heated outdoor swimming facility, and Kåge small boat harbor with the Kåge boat club's facilities, located by the E4. Kåge is situated 13 kilometers north of the urban center of Skellefteå.
Project Timeline
The contractor for the project is Contractor, and the houses in phase 1 are expected to be completed by the turn of 2025/2026. The construction start for phase 2 is planned for Q4 2024.
