Skebo continues its investment in new production outside central Skellefteå. We have significant growth within Skellefteå Municipality and increased demand in several areas, including Burträsk. 17 new apartments are being built in Burträsk with planned move-in date in February 2024. The contractor is JSB Construktion AB.
The Block
It will be a three-story building with an elevator, built in concrete. The area is located in central Burträsk close to a school and a health center. The building is nicely situated near the lake with green spaces for socializing.
There will be nice outdoor seating areas and communal planter boxes for our tenants, as there is already a playground nearby. The new buildings will also have plantings that benefit bees and pollination.
The Apartments
There will be a total of 17 apartments, consisting of two-bedroom units around 54 sqm and three-bedroom units around 75 sqm.
All apartments have balconies. The two-bedroom units will have a combination washer/dryer, while the three-bedroom units will have a separate washing machine and dryer. Dishwashers will be provided in all apartments.
Storage space will be available in the units. Space for strollers and walkers will be on the ground floor. Bike racks will be available at the entrance.

The Area
Burträsk is a small community about 4 miles southwest of Skellefteå, beautifully situated by Lake Burträsket, the largest lake in Västerbotten with the longest sandy beach in the county. Here you will find the old hiking trail Kyrkstigen, which winds between Burträsk and Skellefteå Church.
The area offers a well-developed community service with schools, childcare, health center, swimming pool, and sports facilities. There are also a pharmacy, post office, and several shops and restaurants making life comfortable.
