For Skebo, it is important that our tenants have an apartment that suits there life situation. Being able to swap apartments facilitates moving chains and creates a smooth flow in the rental market.
As a tenant in Skebo, you may have the opportunity to swap apartments with another tenant, but you must have valid reasons for wanting to do so. For example, your home is too large or too small due to changed family circumstances, your financial situation has changed, or other reasons. To be eligible to swap, you must have lived in a Skebo apartment for at least a year.
For a swap to be approved by Skebo, both you and the person you are going to swap apartments with must be able to pay the new rent and not have a previous record of non-payment.
If you find an apartment you are interested in, you should contact the tenant, after which both parties show each other their respective apartments. These steps do not require the involvement of Skebo. To complete the swap, you must contact Skebo for approval. If the swap is approved, new contracts are signed for the relevant apartments and the queue points are reset to zero.
