In the autumn, ground will be broken for a total of 219 new rental apartments at Anderstorpgården in central Skellefteå. The residences are estimated to be ready for occupancy by 2026.

The block has an attractive location along the Skellefteå Riverin the district of Anderstorp, and close to a variety of amenities such as playgrounds, sports facilities, and generous green spaces. The area also features schools, preschools, a health center, and Skellefteå's central parts are within a 15-minute walking distance.
A total of 219 new apartments will be built, distributed among three eight-story tower buildings and a six-story apartment building. The apartments will vary from 2 to 4 rooms and kitchen, ranging in size from approximately 35 to 85 square meters. The buildings will be equipped with solar panels installed on the roofs. NCC has been selected as the contractor for the project.

Skebo is also building two rows of two-story terraced houses on the site. These homes feature 5 rooms and kitchen covering an area of approximately 100 square meters. Additionally, around 140 parking spaces will be provided, with 80 percent equipped with engine pre-heaters that can be converted to electric vehicle charging when the need arises.
– The demand for newly constructed rental apartments in central locations is still high in Skellefteå. The fact that we will soon be able to add over 200 new apartments in a central location feels really good, and we look forward to breaking ground, says Helena Markgren.
